”Chinmaya Vidyalaya Unchahar incepted, on 27th May 1995 under an agreement between NTPC Management and Chinmaya Mission to cater to the provision of quality education to the wards of NTPC employees of Feroze Gandhi Unchahar Thermal Power Project is situated at Unchahar in Raebareli District. The school is affiliated with CBSE since 1997 and is one of the 95 schools run under the aegis of Chinmaya Mission. The school has gloriously completed 25 years since its establishment and is on the run to complete yet another successful year ahead.
The School, with its unique location near NH-24B, connecting the capital city of Lucknow to Allahabad, is constructed on 6.5 acres of land (10,500 sq meters.), with a built-up area of 4500 sq meters and has a playground of 5400 sq. meters.
