GANDHI JAYANTI (02-10-2022)

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in online mode, on Sunday.
Students and teachers mark the 153rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with patriotic fervour.
The students of the school paida creative homage to Gandhi ji by making thoughtful posters and articles,
, maintaining cleanliness in and around their house and beautiful charkha drawing made by students was appreciated by one and all.
The students of the school paid special tributes to the Father of the Nation through their write-up on the significance of Khadi in life.

 

 


TEACHERS' DAY (05-09-2022)

Teacher’s day celebrated on 5th September each year on the occasion of
birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was known as an amazing teacher of his time.
Small function was organized in our school on this occasion for our beloved teachers.
Teachers day function started at 7:20 a.m. morning as the teachers started arriving in school.
Students of Vidyalaya wished their teachers and gifted them with cards and pens.
Special Assembly was organized by teachers. Dress code for teachers was saree for lady
teachers and for Gents kurta pajama. Lunch was served to all the teachers.
Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma got title of Mrs. Beautiful and Mr Pradeep Kumar Pandey of Mr Handsome.
All the teachers received gift of digital clock as a moment to for the day.

INDEPENDENCE DAY - (15-08-2022)

 

 

SUMMER CAMP 2022-23

The Summer Camp 2022, was organised by Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Fun filled activities for the anxious
children was a delightful treat. It gave them an opportunity to learn new skills, while being in a safe
environment of their homes. More than 110 students enthusiastically participated from classes 3 to 8,
in different activities.
Summer Camp aimed at keeping the students engaged & provided them an even platform to explore
and express their creativity, in any form. They not only made memories while having fun but they
were able to face their fears, try new things, pushed their boundaries and realized self-sufficiency.
They were able to make new friends amidst lot of laughs & learnt team spirit. Every activity worth
doing has a learning curve.
The Camp provided some hands on experiences in the following areas:
Musical Instruments: Tabla/ Guitar/ Casio Vocal: Indian
Dance: Indian Classical/Theme based dance
Yoga/Aerobics/Zumba
Art & Craft
The exuberant learners zealously participated & showcased their diligence towards each planned
activity of their choice. The essence of this camp was to develop a sound character of each student &
ultimately the motto was achieved. This Summer Camp was earnestly appreciated not only by the
participants but also by their parents. The overwhelming acknowledgement through their reviews and
feedbacks was a motivating factor for the entire Chinmaya family. Students were awarded for their
performance and discipline by Principal Sir. In the last students were provided with refreshment.

 

 

 

ENGLISH DEBATE 2022-23

 

 

NO TOBACCO DAY 2022-23

WHO today announces the 2022 global campaign for World No Tobacco Day – “Tobacco: Threat to our
environment.” The campaign is aimed to raise awareness among the public on the environmental
impact of tobacco – from cultivation, production, distribution and waste. The theme of World No
Tobacco Day 2022 is “Poisoning our planet”.
NCC cadets (JD JW )along with (CTO) Pratibha Sobhani of Chinmaya Vidyalaya participated in the
campaign which aims to expose tobacco Industry’s effort to “greenwash” its reputation and products
by marketing themselves as environmentally friendly. Cadets created awareness drive by making
drawings and posters in school premises and putting them on their mobile status.

 

 

 

FIRE WEEK 2022-23   

This year the theme of the National Fire Service Day is “Learn Fire Safety, Increase Productivity”.
Remembering the tragic incident at the Mumbai Dockyard, people pay their respect and homage to the
outstanding firefighters for their incredible commitment and sacrifice.
The fire awareness was very much relevant to NTPC as its raw material coal and final product of electricity both
were combustible. A small preventive message will save a huge generation and national asset of the country. As
part of the Fire Services week, the CISF fire wing conducted various programmes such as fire aid, fire
prevention, fire fighting drills, lecturers and essay writing.
More than 280 students participated enthusiastically from class 6 th to8 th for mock drill
and 33 students of class 12 th participated in essay writing competition.              

                                       

 

EARTH DAY 2022-23       

For World Environment Day 2022, the theme is Only One Earth, which was used at
the first global environment gathering in 1972, is being revived.
The World Environment Day 2022 comes with the planet facing a triple crisis of climate change,
nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. As those crises have become more acute, World
Environment Day’s message has gotten more urgent.
Activity was conducted by NTPC & Pratibha Sobhani CTO JD JW in online mode for which more than
50 students participated and showcased their talent in form of drawing, poster making and looking
after the nature wholeheartedly.        

                             

 

                                          

 

SPARROW DAY-2022-23 

I Love Sparrows” is the theme for World Sparrow Day. It was inspired by the hope that more people will
recognise the importance of the human-sparrow interaction. The theme's major goal is to emphasise people's
passion for sparrows and the seemingly tiny things they do to make a great difference in the birds' lives.
As a part of the activity, children were encouraged to make a bird feeder and hang it on their balconies and
trees to attract more birds. Facilitators also explained how birds help to shape the plant life we see around us. It
was a fun-filled activity that helped the students understand and inculcate the significance of birds in nature.

MAHASAMADHI DIVAS -(03-08-2022)

Chinmaya Vidyalaya NTPC, Unchahar, observed Maha-Samadhi Divas on 3rd August 2022 of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda- Our Spiritual Epitome!
On this spiritual day 108 names of Gurudev were chanted by teachers in puja room. Principal sir apprise the students about the importance of the day
The school had special functions performed by some teachers in Vidyalaya. Food packets were distributed to poor and needy.
Students were enthusiastically involved in puja and participated in the activities like Quiz which was conducted
in assembly for classes 1 to 12 with variety of questions related to Swami Chinmayananda ji and also Solo song
donation of old and new clothes, to poor and needy people was also done by students.
